The Alco-Sensor FST is a small handheld device that provides a simple, accurate and economical method of determining a subjects breath alcohol concentration with evidential grade accuracy that uses a electrochemical fuel cell sensor, which is specific for alcohol. It does not respond to acetone or other substances that may be found in human breath.
The Alco-Sensor FST was designed with operator safety in mind. Unlike other instruments available, the Alco-Sensor FST symmetric design allows the operator to view the instrument display, remain in control of the subject, monitor the surrounding environment and divert the subjects breath away from the operator during the sample collection process.
The Intoximeter can also be supplied with a printer which provides the donors results, date and time.
